Are Tescos still accepting MOC or not?
Can we use conditional spend coupons and where are people finding these coupons?
Thnaks all
Merry Christmas!!!!
Good evening Loulou
Most Tesco's are accepting coupons if you buy the product. Please check page 1 for printable coupons etc.
Also most Tesco accept other stores conditional spend coupons, ie Morrisons or Sainsburys £5 off a £30 spend, usually found in newspapers. (check the daily newspaper thread)
Check page 1 which will answer most of your questions.
Can you make sure you thank Princess on page 1 for all her hard work keeping the thread updated (if you haven't done it already of course)
Good luck couponning.0 -

Tesco will now only accept MOC for items that you have actually bought and the conditional spend coupons are generally found in local and national newspapers. Keep an eye on the daily newspaper thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2062381 on this forum.
Most of us buy more than 1 copy of a paper if it has a good conditional spend in it.
It might also be worth sending an e-mail to customerservices@farmfoods.co.uk to be added to their mailing list for coupons, they send you 2 sheets of coupons £2.50 off £25 and £5 off £50 which Tescos should accept.
It depends on the cashier as to what they will accept, if you are lucky they will let you use more than 1 conditional spend coupon from different companies ie spend £30 use 1 x £5 off £30 Somerfield plus 1 x £2.50 off £25 Farm Foods.
To use 2 x £5 off £30 Somerfield coupons you will need to spend £60
If your Tescos refuse a conditional spend coupon you can send your coupon and receipt to Customer services at Head office and ask for a refund.
Anybody tried Aldi crumpets 6 for 39p, :j really lovely, won't buy Tesco or Asda crumpets again0 -
Don't want to upset anyone, but when I went to Tesco this morning for loads more Domestos, and bread, and a few things on offer, it was chock a block. (I miscounted my Domestos coupons and handed in a couple too many. By accident of course.)
Also had points coupons to hand in so I was happy anyway.
Really busy with people buying lots of xmas stuff as well as normal food etc.0 -

Both my local stores are half empty.
At end of day, they should be busy now - coupons or no coupons - its the run up to christmas.
I still believe takings will be well down.0 -

Does your Mr T have much local competition?
We have a Waity's that opened recently and I'm sure that has had an effect, especially as they are relatively coupon friendly (any coupons I get for things that I don't usually purchase I can use there) also I have now reverted to Asda for my main shopping as they are much cheaper for basic items and I pop into Aldi for their cheap fruit 'n' veg.
When I was in my local Asda recently (end of month payday) it was manic, just like xmas with queues down the aisles :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I think we couponers should adopt them as well - not to detract from their original meaning of course. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
There is nothing lovelier than the sight of a field full of poppies, both as a countryside view and as a symbol of those we should never forget. xSo your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try
