yellow anitbacterial cif on offer Asda from £2.60 to £1.00 - with coupon reduced to 50p
Dad hasnt got the hang of the coupons in Ts yet rang up all excited about the Domestos 50p bought 3 handed in 6 coupons ( when you r nearly 80 you can gety away with anything) making a bit of a profit just like the good old days !
I used some of my wine coupons and with domestos spent over £30 gor the Baileys and was charged £18 went to customer service but would only give me back £9 asked for doulble the difference but she said not counted on "spend and save" surley an overcharge is an overcharge and i said i only noticed when i got to the car the amount on the receipt so it was a genuine overcharge.
Ts SA s have not changed one bit still old trouts - not a sorry or anything tried to wangle out of giving any refund atall saying it was cos i had used wine vouchers i had not spent £30 and £18 was the right price
(Its not like they r giving the stuff away as it is £10 in morrisons without a conditional spend so i would have given it back anyway ive been too well coupon trained to take any rubbish or be embarassed)
Anyone heard of this rule - think i will write to sir Terry if any one still has the email address please post it - he must be feeling a bit lonley since everyone has stopped complaining about coupons so he may look forward to a nice email !0 -
 My 100th post
:j Had a brilliant shop at Asda today :j, they have got the Domestos Grot Buster on special offer for £1 and I found some Cif Actifizz marked at £1 too(luckily I had my stash of coupons with me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).
Got loads of multibuy offers that saved me £18.... Batchelors savoury rice 62p or 4 for £1, Fray Bentos pies £1.86 or 2 for £2, Chicago Town Edge to Edge pizza £2.48 or 3 for £3 and Airwick Symphonia refills at £5.15 or 2 for £6 (managed to use a £3 and a £2 coupon for these):D The Seriously Strong cheese 400g for £2 is still on the buy 3 for £5 even though the notice is no longer there.
Just before I headed to the tills, they announced a special offer on a Samsung E1120 mobile phone for £10 including £5 credit, so I grabbed one of these too.
As I was leaving the store I had a quick look at my receipt and realised that I had been charged £2.60 for my Cif instead of £1. Got a refund of £6.40 plus a £2 giftcard for their error.
Not much in Waity's tonight, but still managed to use my 6 coupons :T0 -
Here's the e mail address Terry.Leahy@uk.tesco.com
He's not feeling very lonely at the moment because lots of people from the go go hamsters thread have e mailed him. Tesco were selling the go go hamster balls for £20 when the RRP was £9.99. They were taking advantage of the fact that they are virtually impossible to get hold of. Anyway, they have now changed the price to the RRP. So customer service have been busy with people taking them back and then buying them back again:rotfl::rotfl:You can imagine the fun people are having with the trouts when trying to do that:eek:
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Hi Cashless cow, great shop, but as per an email I recd from asda service team on the 27 October, their policy changed on the 14 September and it states :-
"Our overcharge policy has just recently changed. Our policy from the 14th of September states, for each item you are overcharged you will receive the difference from the correct price to the price you were charged and also a £2 gift card per item to say sorry.
Please note is you are overcharge on a offer, for example, you buy 5 ready meals for £4 and you are overcharged you will only receive one £2 gift card instead of five".
So, by my calculations you bought 4 cifs, so you should have recieved £8.00 gift card to say sorry.
You could possible try and get £6.00 more from them. :money:0 -
