For those of you that have plenty of points and want to use them up on choccies...it would seem that they can be changed to deals vouchers for redemption at Thorntons now...sorry if you all knew this already...I've only just seen it on an email I received the other day...listing a few new deals as well , not sure if it's only up until Xmas or not
I received this yesterday and checked the prices with the thorntons online shop and the ones that are listed (some aren't even listed, so makes me wonder if it is old stock:eek:) are a lot more expensive using deals vouchers if you times the reward amount by 4. Obviously using rewards to buy them is still cheaper than paying the actual cash at Thorntons, It seems that Tesco are doing what a lot suspected, doubling the points but charging more for the goods.
Just Noticed this is my 1,000 post, you would think I could post something interesting or even a coupon, but then why have my 1,000 post any different to the other 999:rotfl::rotfl:
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Just got back from a quick trip to Morrisons' and used a couple of MOC's - got £1 off Energizer rechargeable batteries (I think it was strictly off the charger or the lithium ones but the young SA put it through anyway) and 25p off a 750g box of Shreddies from Pik-a-Paks - they were reduced to £1.23 so only 98p - excellent buy.
OH went to T's today for a small shop (coudn't stop her :rotfl: - anyway the 4 weeks are over now) and she got £2.50 Farm Foods off - no problem.
I think I may have to go for the first time since black Friday and get some 15p Domestos - how many will they let us have in one go?If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

I was thinking exact same thing...supposing ( theoretically ) we could have 50...that would be £25...less £2.50 F/Food less 50 mocs at 35p = £17.50...so 50 x Domestos for £5....10p a bottle ...sounds good to me...shall I try it?0 -
Went to Mr T's and got 10 bottles of Domestos, used moc's so they only cost me £1.50 for the lot.
Also Bold liquid on offer for, I think it was £2.89, had a till spit for £1 off and used one of the £1 coupons out of the booklet I got with the free bottle of Bold, so the Bold only cost .89p instead of almost £5 (full price)
Then spotted the Hartleys Frujies individual tubs at 49p. Using the 25p coupons from the Ambrosia/Hartley leaflets was happy to get them for just 24p each.
So really couponning has returned (if it ever went) but we have to be a bit more canny how we go about it.:):)
Can't print the choccy moc, my printer is not working.:( hope I can fix it before the coupon ends.
Forgot to say I spent enough on offers to get to £30 so I could use the £5 Somerfield and a £2.50 Farmfoods coupon. Also used a coupon for 150 points off a £2 box of Galaxy chocs, making them just 50p. Oh, yes, got my free loaf of Hovis too.
So today I was a happy bunny.0 -

I mailed them too and had a reply within the hour requesting my address details and also received a £1 moc, which is for Allied Bakeries [increases scope for use], so go for it.So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try
