    nice one!

where did you get the finnish coupons?

wonder if this means tesco ARE doing them again?

    soooo many rumours :(

They were on bottles of rinse aid.

To be honest, i am sure it was just an error. I Just wish i had not had to explain it to the other woman, as i am sure she would have had words about it when i left.

I could have targetted the one who said it was OK for months to come.:D I don't use that store much though, and won't probably go back just on the off chance she's on.

Don't think it will work at the tills. For one, she was going to accept Tesco specific coupons without buying the items, which was always wrong, and secondly, she also was also willing to accept five of the same coupons.

Deffo a one of me thinks, unfortunatley.

I've been a naught boy today. If i am to be whipped for my sins, then so be it - it was worth it.

Went to T's (told you i was bad) to get some more Fairy dishwasher tabs. But the store i went to had them at full price. So i took a chance, and bought 10 fairy liquids, hoping my local store had some left.

They had 11, so i took a coupon off a fairy bottle (i was robbed of one last week at the till), and got em all and a bottle of Baileys for £9.

At the till, my clubcard plus needed authorising. I normallly just pay with another card to save time, but i though sod it, cos you lose the extra points. So i was sent off to customer service. Then i remembered the 6 item bulk buy rule for items on offer, and i though i might come unstuck.

After 20 MINS authoring the card, the lady scanned 5 coupons and gave me 6 back. "Whats wrong", i said. "You can only use 5 without buying the product", came the response". "I've bought em all", i replied. So she applogised, and scanned em all.

At this point i remembered i had 5 x £3 finish coupons in the car, so i asked if i could spend them without buying the items. "Of course", she said - and off i went to get the coupons. I returned swiftly, just grabbed a litre bottle of Bacardi on offer at £14.49 ish and a pastie, and went back to customer service. But she had gone. I waited for a short while and then decided to tell the other woman what i had been told. She said i was wrong, but tracked the original lady down, and i got my shopping for about 30p.

Don't know quite what happened there, as this store never followed policy when you could use coupons. But i am one happy bunny, as now i dont have to use the coupons to buy EVEN MORE dishwasher tabs.

What a Result - it was like the good ole days!!!!:D
