Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Not been on ANY money saving sites for ages!!!! Since MOC stopped I have shopped at all the other supermarkets , what a joy. Have used T but only when essential.
I am sure there are MOC that I could use in my normal shop but have been far too busy to even flick through to see.
Not abandoning the thread just have juggled my priorities a bit & coupons don't even make top 10!0 -

Went to T's today...had 2 x£5 Somerfield mocs ,and various F/Foods but wanted to get the petrol/diesel 5p coupon ...asked at CS and was told if I spent £60 I could use both the Somerfield mocs and get the fuel moc...asked SA to stop my shop at £60 , which he did..I returned 3 items as might as well get those when I use a £2.50 F/Food, if it had been nearer £75 I would have got a few more things and used one then and there...got 2 x 9 packs of Velvet on offer a 2 for £6 but with 2 x 50p Velvet mocs brought those down to £5 ( for 18 rolls, not bad at all)...used 1 x £4 Pinecone , so £15 off a £60.32 spend works out at 25% discount...checkout supervisor said they had missed me and even the manager had asked her if I had been in.Was told the stopping of mocs was being discussed prior to Black Friday and she doubted it would be returned as it was before as it was being abused...not by me I might add!!!As I have said before...it was great while it lasted....I have shopped in Morrisons and Aldi in the last couple of weeks, but I do love my Tesco...I'll continue shop around a little bit more for goods on specials elsewhere...got 24 jars of Loyd Grossman Tikka Massa bogofs at Morrisons and now I see they are a £1 a jar at Asda...doh!!!Not going to lose any sleep over 24 x 4.5p but might pop in and get 6 if I'm passing as had used my last one of 24 I got from there when getting the Quantum earlier this year..use at least 1 a week, so 6 months supply is not out of the way when it is so cheap...Tesco have never had it anywhere near that price when they have it on promotion...got 4 till spits as well, not had that many for ages, but 1 is for Ink Cartridges and saddly, I doubt I'll be needing any more for quite a while yet....unless things change peeps....you never know.It Ain't over until the fat lady sings !!! Fingers Crossed.
Had a good afternoon at a local Pottery Factory Shop .....got a teapot with matching cup and saucer( tea for one , the teapot sits on top of the cup ...xmas prrezzie for my son as I hate seeing him dunk a teabag in a cup !!!)...4 lovely dinner plates and 2 steak plates( all matching, best not seconds!!) and 4 cappucino cups and saucers, lovely pattern with black saucers...total cost....wait for it....£20.10...the plates were 75p each and the coffee cups and saucers were 50p each....so sons prezzie was £10.10 and assistant said she was embarassed selling me such an expensive teapot, especially as it only made 1 cup...lol...
Postie brought me a full size bag of Taylors Decaffeinated coffee as thanks for survey on their site i did a few weeks ago....so apart from upsetting some of you for returning to T's, I've had a very good day...even better when I got the car insurance from Saga , it was the cheapest quote via moneysupermarket, but by clicking a link, got an extra £30 off for getting a household insurance quote whilst I was at it....saving £51 from renewal qoute from Aviva and got European cover included, as well as less excess, in fact everything except breakdown , which I did not need as the car came new with 3 years breakdown from Subaru last year....( going to Southern Ireland next year) and European cover is extra with Aviva....did not know that until I checked through the renewal when it came...but with Saga can go as often as I wish to anywhere in the European Union on this policy....exhausted now after all this saving...time for tea...bully is having a salad with bread made in my breadmaker which I got out of the loft after reading the posts on here a few weeks ago !!!...forgotten I'd got one....followed by home made trifle, the things you can do on a wet afternoon!!0 -
