Called in the Co-op on my way home tonight to get a few bits and bobs and the free Hovis loaf - SA said they no longer accept internet coupons.

Then popped over to Superdrug to get a couple of Plenty - SA called Supervisor who said didn't think they took internet coupons but would ring HO. Took my coupons with her (I was a bit panicky, thought I'd never see them again:eek:), but she did return after a while and said they can't take them as they don't have redemption via Valissis on them. I thought all coupons were redeemed through Valissis now, but sure enough looked closely at them when I got them back in my sticky little mits and it says send to SCA Hygiene.

Will have to try and get Plenty and Hovis elsewhere.

Ahhhhhhhh, feel better now, just had to share my experience today with people who understand ! Thanks for reading.

litre bottles for £10 did you really get six? - has it only just started and does anyone know when this promo ends as I'm partial to a G & T:D also is it Gordons? - I went in looking for the £4kg Irish rump steak but couldn't see any - you all probably got there first:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but i did get a good few bargains anyway.
I'm also wondering if Asda's in different areas have different promos but I wouldn't thought so:confused:
Just to add as I popped over to mysupermarket site and they do have the spirits at £10 a bottle but not litle bottles only the 70cl so it must only be an instore promo

It has only just started - don't know when it will end but staff told me it won't last long as its flying out the door! Its Bells whisky, Smirnoff Vodka and Gordons gin and it is definetly 1Litre bottles. It appears to be nationwide so should be in ALL Asda stores.

Notices saying '3 per customer only' are on show but that isn't stopping customers going round twice (or more!).

Get in soon if you want some

When in Tesco yesterday & today - only to sort out my dispute with the optical side. To cut the long story short. It was BOGOF glasses in Jun 2008. I argued with the HQ that BOGOF means identical lenses, etc. I am already short sighted & they aspect the customer to read the tiny conditions on their postal. Anyway, I refused to pay additional cost to retify my glasses that they asked for. In the end, they agreed to let me pay only 50%. My email was originally to Mr. Terry, then a copy to the optical company via recorded mail.

Anyway, met one of my fav., staff, he told me that my T now accept printable coupons if we buy the actual products! typical!!!! it must be b'coz they are losing customers. But he also said that using coupons against other products might come back again. I'll just have to wait & see. When to Morris to do my shopping instead.

Bessie Y'shire pudding £1 (same as Asda) Morris offer ends on 25/10/09.
Bessie roast pototoes £1 (offer ends 1/11/09)

Thanks a lot PC, I realise that your job is very time consuming and think you have been doing it brilliantly. The coupons seem to be hidden well now as although I have spent quite a lot of time searching, I just cant find any. There definitely dont seem to be any pdf ones anywhere.
