Thanks Claire, I wanted it for my daughter-in-law who also is Claire.

The coupon appears but when I click on the printer icon, no action. I printed off a Hovis coupon earlier so I know it's OK.

Nope, I never was. Get over it & shop elsewhere!:rotfl:

I cannot believe for one minute that T pulled the policy because of a journalist mentioning mocs on TV without even singling out Tesco...insignificant IMHO. If Martin's faux pas was that much of an issue then Waitrose would have done the same and pulled their policy that week as well. They didn't.

However, I was very pee'd off with the scammers that have been hugely abusing the policy, and any ebayers selling copies of dodgy mocs in recent months though. The policy was never under threat until they struck and then, one by one, Tesco stores started to panic/change policy/lobby HO for a national change. It seems that so much dodgy rubbish was going through the tills recently Tesco couldn't continue (I don't think the fake/dodgy internet moc abuse affected Waitys anything like as much, as they seem to be generally much more careful & sensible re mocs).

And to think that our thread here and all our hard work no doubt lined the pockets of the thieving scumbags who ended the policy. That's worth feeling furious about.

You're right, I should get over it. I am trying! I'm just so damned poor! I'd shop elsewhere if it wasn't for staff discount :(
• See below a further email received from Tesco as I wanted clarification as to whether the new coupon policy was permanent. It will be reviewed over time.

Dear Tony,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry again for the delay.

I can confirm, at the moment there are no plans to reconsider reinstating the coupon policy. As you and my colleague mentioned, the new policy was put in place Friday 2nd October at 3pm. Therefore this is still very new and will be reviewed over time.

I hope this has helped.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk quoting TES***X.

• thanks for the info on the right guard - got 12 cans today after trying 3 shops :j
Will have to hide it as the mitchum is still filling a drawer.

Went to sainsburys and got 3 plenty for £1.50 instead of £6 (real price)
i think all the trouts have moved from T s to Sainsburys the fuss the SA made calling over the supervisor then a manager for 3 vouchers . Luckily i was well trained from my T days and didnt flinch .

Went to a really large Home and bargain - was well pleased with myself and only bought what i needed but i was really tempted to buy loads of really nice reduced things - they do have fab things in there.

On a big economy drive and sticking to my menu planner so just bought a few vege from Aldi.

Did all this in my lunch hour (except for the third Boots ) seems much quicker than when i used to shop at Ts cos I was always adding up the cost as i went round then putting in little things to make up the numbers if there were no good SA s on the tills.
• Hiya everyone, By any chance does anyone here come from Bristol area?
Hit the thanks button if it helps!:T
