Just to mention that I am avoiding Tesco 'big time '! That includes getting petrol at other filling stations in addition to buying all my consumables elsewhere. Fortunately a nice new Waitrose has just opened nearby and I am enjoying the pleasant atmosphere .Our fruit and veg. now comes from either the local market or a 'proper' greengrocers shop.
Since my shopping pattern has suddenly changed so drastically I think I'm spending a bit more. It'll take a little time for me to get fully into the money-saving approach again . I feel I may well be a permanently lost customer to Tesco !!! It is good to know that I'm not the only one doing this.
good evening all, yes i have to agree, i spent yesterday shopping around went to iceland for my milk £1 and bisto gravy (big one) £1 and picked up 4 Kentucky chicken bits £1.
then off to Morrison's shreddies £1.23 a box and a free book, plus pasta, sauce and 30 pence shower gels (a complete bargain)
got in and just wanted to sleep
and did so, it so tiring all this bargain shopping, but well Worth it imo. 0 -

I for one have not shopped at TESCO since the coupon ban This includes petrol small shops etc. I tried ASDA for a while but sadly I dont like the experience there. I think i will be venturing into Wtoes the only ting is the local on is in the heart of the town centre in an unfriendly parking area I hope they open a larger one out of town soon. i hope they loose a lot of money
Went into Waity's this evening and got some fruit reduced. Chap said to Mad "there's more reduced here", and took me to a shelf full of stuff. Wouldn't get that in T's:T:TAKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©

Have to agree. Spent few hours yesterday in and out of Sainsbury and Waitrose for various items using up coupons on offers as well as glitches in WH Smiths and Boots. Dragging dd round with me trying to educate her to the art of saving as much money as possible (she now has a mortgage of her own!)
We came home and she flopped on the sofa moaning how exhausting it was shopping my way!! :rotfl:
I'll try her again when shes recovered:rotfl:0 -

I have 2 x 50p coupons for felix multipack 0f 12 pouches, valid till 31/12. They are genuine ones taken from a magazine. If they can be of use to someone to use against these pm me. DO NOT pm me for them if you just want a couple of coupons to use against other products please as there are plenty of others still around. Obviously first one gets them
