Was entering GMTV comps just now and thought I'd check out couponnet from the link on the GMTV home page to see if there were any new mocs and all the mocs that I've had were unchecked....always said 'print limit reached' ...can some one else take a look please?
    thanks for that

Ive just come back from a two week holiday (paid for with clubcard points) to find that tesco no longer takes coupons unless you by the item. The checkout girl said this would be a permanent rule.
So i had to go to waitrose that is closer to me anyway. They would accept any coupon as long as stocked in the store.
I also found that a lot of the items are a lot cheaper than tesco, there a lot friendlier and they smile even the old ones.
One thing that surprised me is that they dont scan the coupons they just type in the price.
Do waitrose have a loyalty card ???

I think you have to take out a John Lewis Partnership card. Waitrose don't have their own loyalty card.

If you look back a few pages, some of us did ask that Waitrose policy was not promoted too much to prevent it going the same way as Tesco. Regulars on this thread are well aware that they take coupons for products they stock, although the policy does vary from store to store.
At my store, they do usually scan in coupons rather than just input the value.
I agree with you, I think Waitrose have looked at their pricing policy and they have come down especially for their Essential range, which I find as good as their old products.
They have always been friendly - remember all staff are partners so it is in their interest to make customers welcome.
  • Hi- Have just got back home, having called into Morrisons for the bread & Shloer, & Wilkinsons for the Plenty, & thought I`d like to make a point of saying a big THANK YOU to all those kind posters who have willingly & cheerfully answered my questions on where to buy these items, thereby getting the best value for money possible. I wouldn`t have known where to start looking, so the help & info is very much appreciated :T Despite everything, I really feel we have a good rapport on this thread, & if we can help each other out, then that`s what it`s all about, isn`t it? Well, hopefully, I haven`t frightened everyone away with all that, onwards & upwards, folks! :rotfl:
