Sorry not to respond ealier , was fishing all day ,only caught a pheasant ...there was a shoot in the wood behind me and a bird fell into the river right in front of me, I scooped it out with my net...should have seen the look of surpise on the blokes face when I took it to him....

I have always had extra payments when I have tested and returned products...sent the air freshener in the other day and had this email with the payment info....

Thank you for taking part in the air freshener product study. It is because of people like you that manufacturers are able to provide the types of products you want.
The manufacturer has asked that we collect the electrical device and the refill that you have at this time for further examination.
We will be sending you compensation as a token of our appreciation for returning the product.
If you have not received the postage paid return shipping materials, please email me so that we can troubleshoot the problem.
Thanks in advance for your participation.
    Have a great day!

Surprised you didn't keep the pheasant!

Makes sense that they would pay you for returning an item. Did you give a bad report on the device as they asked you to return it?
I have only ever tested items that I could keep. Have you received extra payment in this case & also for completing a survey on the product?

Better luck with the fishing next time out.

Using quidco for sainsbury online & £10 cashback for 1st time online order only. No minimum spend.

I was no where near £10 so am not going to waste the cashback. Will defo., do it the next time when I have enough shopping to do.

Am only interested in 160 PG tea @ £2 and butterkist cinema popcorn @ 50p each.

I have always got £4 for each survey...then if they send me a product I get £4 for my views on the product and then another £4 if I ever have to return it....there was nothing wrong with the air freshener I think they just want them back as they are not on the market yet...remember the one ages ago for the dishwasher product ( a dispensing system that was placed in the dishwasher) that has never been marketed, and as it was a 'new invention' that had to be returned to keep it a secret...I tested that for 6 months and really liked it.

It seems strange that they have different payments for different panel members. As we are not supposed to discuss products, will not contact them and ask why I only receive £4 for first survey.
Wonder if there are other people on here who receive the same as you.

Fine by me, I think since Black Friday this thread has changed a bit, and it's best to just let it evolve for a few more weeks to see where it goes, and what works.

Good idea, especially if there are any deals that are coupon related. Thanks
