Cheers, Jeferey! Does anyone know if they are on offer, anywhere, please? (don`t normally buy them) Also, don`t know if it`s significant, but Morrisons was very very busy earlier- never seen so many people in there! Got my free bread, & some Shloer, plus some pasta sauce- they only had a few left! In contrast, my T`s ( yes, had to go & get the goats milk again- their own brand is cheaper), was very quiet- I managed to get a parking space really easily, unheard of on a Thursday... not all of the tills were open, either. Think their pockets may suffer a little, surely, if enough people are shopping around, they will feel some effects?

Sainsburys have the Fun Sun patterned Plenty on offer at 99p :D

Have you started using the Tesco Credit Card? TPF = Tesco Personal Finance..the points you accrue using that card always show at the bottom of your receipt...you get points per £ spent on goods and extra points when you use the card to pay...so the TPF points are the ones that are extra ...

The bonus points you earn by paying with a Tesco Clubcard Plus also show as tpf on the bottom of your receipt.

my friend told me that my local T are not taking coupons - I have no need to go in to see now - she said that the only sign informing customers of the change is a very small one behind the customer service desk and that the SA's at the checkout are having fun telling peeps that they can't use their coupons. She also said that when she was waiting at the checkout the SA on her checkout turned around to a woman on the checkout behind and shouted 'I bet you'll miss using coupons won't you' and laughed her head off - my friend doesn't use coupons and warned me not to go in there because she knows I do/did and does not want me to be humiliated like that:eek:
She did say though that T seemed to be as busy as usual.
    What a biatch!

At least you've got ample warning to think of a suitably nasty reply! ;)

'tpf points' stands for Tesco Personal Finance points.

I used to get these when I paid for my shopping with my Clubcard Plus Card (got extra points on amount paid by card ie after Mocs)
You would also get some 'tpf points' if you paid instore with a 'Tesco' credit card.

Obviously not had any Tpf points recently as I haven't been near the place :rotfl::rotfl:

Finally tried some Tesco 9p Shortbread yesterday. Don't think much of it, preferred the Sainsburys one.

Comparing the two, per 100g, the calories are almost the same, but the T one has more sugar at 16.5g vs 12.8g for Sains. And the T one has alot more Sat Fat -
    15.2g vs 4.0g.

You also get tpf points with their car insurance, if you pay monthly. hth.
My T's is busy at the moment, noticed as I walked home, but only because the students are back.
