a bit of humour for the weekend,

    ################################################

James Bond walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive
woman. He gives her a quick glance, and then casually looks at his watch.
The woman notices this and asks, "Is your date running late?" "No," he
replies, "Q has just given me this state-of-the-art watch. I was just
testing it." The intrigued woman says, "State-of-the-art watch? What is so
special about it?" "It uses alpha waves to talk to me telepathically," Bond
explains. "So what's it telling you now?" says the woman. "Well, it says
you're not wearing any panties," Bond replies. The woman giggles and says,
"Well it must be broken because I am wearing panties!" Bond smirks, taps his
watch and says, "Bloody thing's an hour fast."

I expect mad's gone to the footie. Hope everyone's team wins.:T

Sorry I don't have anything new or exciting that's coupon-related to post. Just a reminder to use your Waitys fivers this weekend and collect your new fivers for next week. Maybe if you have one left and don't want to spend £30 on Sunday, a nice cashier might exchange this weeks one for next weeks just to get rid of one & entice you back.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Might help if you had one to start with! Went in yesterday and if you have one they will give you another and if you don't even if you spend over £30 they won't give you a £5 coupon  Tried it on at the 'Welcome' desk but that's the way it is......At least I didn't need to spend a minimum amount though so every cloud etc
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

Wigan Athletic not playing today, but grandson's Leigh Genesis u15's conceded in the last minute for 1-1 draw. Should have won 6-0, but it's a funny old game.

Just got back from Waitrose to i could use my £5 off coupon, took me ages not knowing where anything was, have got some nice food but you paid the price for it. Just had the offer and essentials food. Managed to use a total of 5 coupons. Then off I went to Asda to get the Badger beer another 4 coupons used and they'd still got the cuffs round the neck for another 50p off.

I am well thank you :)
been a busy few months. Very sad about the new policy. feels like the end of an era. Will certainly be going to waitorse now and sending an email to tesco to say why.
can i get in your suitcae and come with you?
and yes, you can get into my suitcase anytime - I've seen you photo!!! luckily you haven't seen mine:DOh!! to be a few years younger or to be honest a lot of years younger:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I don't have a Waitrose in my area but there is a Morrisons/Asda/Sainsbury so I'm spoiled for choice and found that with the 5 coupon rule I only saved around £2-3 on a weekly shop of £60 and I saved more than that in Sainsburys by buying their offers and stocking up on them and the staff were really really nice too:j
Hope everyone else is OK and finding good deals elsewhere

Hi Dave I saw for myself the chaos in Dudley by organised gangs. The store had to stop people entering as it was over capacity for fire regulations. The 1000's of coupons were thrown, by cashiers, into empty cardboard boxes as there were too many to go in the cash registers. It was absolute mayhem.
I've heard it enough times  only 5 coupons allowed against a shop in my store and like for like purchases. .
The manager should have announced over the tannoy that coupon acceptance was being suspended until further notice and it would have stopped the chaos straight away:confused: let's face it that's what they did on Friday surely the manger should have used his initiative:eek:he's problably shelf filling in another store as we post:rotfl:or will be soon:rotfl::rotfl:
