I'm sure Sher60 will answer your question soon, but hope you don't mind me also replying.
I bought a breadmaker just over a year ago and it is without doubt one of the best investments I've ever made. I decided to go for the best I could get and, having read alot of reviews by people on PTS, I decided on the Panasonic SD-255, which is the one that automatically adds seeds etc at the right time. [I used some of my deals and a code that was available for Direct at the time]
I have used the Hovis bread mixes in the past, but usually weigh mine out. I've found the Hovis bread flours to be best for us and mostly make a 50% wholemeal loaf, adding pumpkin, sesame and sunflower seeds to it.
The bread is lovely - so much nicer than shop bought and you add exactly what you want, so in my case, I use dairy free spread, as my daughter is vegan. The added bonus us that it makes the house smell lovely too!
There is one small downside - you may find you end up eating more bread as its so nice.
HTHSo your answer don’t be scared of failure

we were restricted to 3 per customer at our local asda, but as we were genuinely shopping for one of my sons aswell, we managed to get 9, being a "veggie" I eat a lot of cheese,so great bargain for me. picked up quite a few reduced bargains again last night, was well pleased.
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.
