Has anyone been able to use any vouchers at Tesco without buying the product, I ask because I saw with my own eyes the email sent out to all the stores, however, I had to go to a different and much smaller Tesco today (not to shop I might add), and spoke to one of the staff re wether they take coupons.
    Wait for it............... YES:j
Didn't know about any problems with them, and as long as I don't use too many blah blah blah, there were no yellow posters on any of the tills either!!!

Tescos do technically take coupons but when you asked this maybe you should have said "do you take coupons without purchasing the product?"

  • Pink went to Lidl today on the way home from work and got a few bargains :j:j:j:j

Thanks to the advice of the ops I got some branston beans @ £1 for a 4 pack an a 4 pack of tuna aswell as some lettuce and celery for the animals. :T:T:T I picked up some other bits on offer like a 500g pack of Pilgrims choice cheese for £1.99 instead of £3.99 I think it was and the olive oil @ £1.99 for 750ml bottle, a present for mum and a few other bits an spent £16 odd after multibuys which I didnt think was too bad :D:D:D:D:D

Thank you to all the ops for their advice on some of the bargains at Lidl. :T:T:T:T

well, the whole thing has been billed as a trial and each store had an option as to whether to take part or not...that I know....so i guess at least one store in the entire country didn't take part in the trial!
I can't see them changing it back to be honest. my local have even gone to the extent of make laminated white signs to stick on every till stating the new policy, seems a bit extreme for something temporary. I wonder if it will be manager's discretion again as to whether policy is reverted back.
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p
