Well done, katy

For me today :
- had to spend £4 on bus fare (grrr - at my monthly pass not runing up in the post and throwing all my planning out the window!)
- checked banking (still grim)
- scratchies and clicks
- worked hard for my pennies at the office (and jeez ! has it been a stressful day)
- meals from leftovers and freezer
- tiny bit of ironing
- no heating on (nope, nope, nope)
- Mum gave me £6 for DS haircut (desperately required, and not in my budget - thank you Mum x)
- check for freebies
- used toiletry stash in shower
- took packed lunch to work
- used free texts to keep in touch
That's my lot.
Have a good rest-of-evening all
Aiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0 -
Evening people
Today I:- ate lunch and dinner for free at work
- paid money into bank account
- claimed expenses from petty cash
- will sort out dinner for tomorrow night - slow cooker!
- had a rummage in stuff that is going into work jumble sale and think it may be worth going on Sunday!!!
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

Thank you everyone!! I find the competitions make a real different as you sometimes are lucky to get luxuries you wouldn't spend your pennies on (like beauty products etc) but somethine like this is a BIG luxury so is fantastic!!
Fay - well done on Darwin passing his MOT It all adds up which I guess is why we're here! x x xThank you to all posters:beer:0 -
My first money saving step happened today when I dug out an old note pad (rather than buy a new one, which is great for me!) and started making a spending diary.
A small step in the right direction. x x
