Thurs 1st October - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Morning everyone
Hugs to anyone who'd needs or would like one today....
and welcome to any new posters...
Not much on for me today - work and pick up DD1 from a netball match after school at 5 then drop her straight to cheerleading...busy lives the cildren have
Mogchops - exciting, nearly your big weekend....do you have the outfit ready?
Dawn - glad you had a lovely luxurious few days, back to reality eh?!:D
Ok, here's my list for today:

Morning everyone,
It is freezing here today! Proper autumnal weather for the beginning of October.
Mogchops - hope you have a fab weekend, good luck with the outfit!
Dawn - good luck avoiding Timbucktu, I hate it when the boss finds all sorts of things for you to do at the last minute before holidays.
Milly - I love all the smilies, they've really brightened up my mornings this week!
Right my list for today:- [STRIKE] Breakfast at home, lunch from stores

Morning everyone!
Feel yuck today! I am brewing a sinus infection! Haven't had one for about six months and normally get them after colds! It isn't great timing as I am due to have sinus surgery in twelve days to help correct the problem!
So not really feeling up to much! Have GP appointment this afternoon and will start antibiotics. So my list is rather short today:- Bath with free products
- Walk to GP if I feel up to it (have achy joints but walk may do me good and no money for the bus!)
- Get prescriptions using pre-payment card
- Treat myself to cup of tea at Sainsburys (79p) whilst waiting for prescription
- Daily scratchcards
- Daily lotteries
- Daily competitions
- Twitter comps
- Comps ending soon
- Update signature and start £1000 challenge before Christmas!!
Thank you to all posters:beer:0 -
This is the first time I've joined in this kind of thing so bear with me!
*Made lunch for me and OH
*Drove extremely differently to how I usually do - managed to get my car to do 34mpg instead of 24 lol
*Moved some money around so OH can pay off his toolbox debt for once and for all (saving us £100 a month)
Need to figure out where to move money around from to compensate for us going £380 into our overdraft last month (wedding in August took it out of us and still playing catch-up)....plus because OH has started new job, he's been emergency taxed
Hopefully will sort everything out!
...Oh and have attempted to figure out how to do daily clicks lol;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)0 -
