Morning all,
Today I have/will:- Write down all my spending in my diary
- Get in and out of the shop with JUST the birthday card I go in for and not 47 other things that jump off the shelves into my arms
- Not draw cash out (because then I spend it )
- Eat the lunch I have brought to work and not supplement it from the evil vending machine
- Check online banking
- Do a signature
- Sort some more of the paperwork mountain after work

Hello all,
Today I have:
Checked my online banking ( all bills come out)
I will:
be doing free exercise using DVD
take rubbish out
see to pets
get some shopping for my mum
see my mum
have a shower rather than bath
get the washing on and hung up to dry
ring up for settlement figure on my mortgage
I'm happy as only have 5 months of a loan that was taken out in May 2005, so that will be nearly 5 years that it has been a huge weight on my shoulders so what is left doesn't seem like much.
Hope everyone has a good day
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -

Welcome on board to any new posters:D haven't seen lurleene around for a bit
is she on holiday? 0 -
Realised I need a serious kick! So I have:
Shopped at morrisons, got value or bargain food, and only the absolute must haves to get us through the next week.
Used my discount card at morrisons.
Joined the grocery challenge.
Used my free O2 texts.
And I'm just about to scare myself by totting up my random grocery spends at Tesco for September.
EDIT:
Total grocery spends through bank a/c = £418.03
Total "cant be bothered, lets get a takeaway" through bank a/c = £87.19
And thats excluding the times I used random cash that I found in my purse.......form an orderly queue and grab your hitting stick of choice....I'm off to be totally ashamed of myself!0 -
Update:
Managed to escape work early - we are supposed to have a flexi time scheme but I end up with so much additional time it all disappears (where? time warp??) so managed to reduce it by a bit by leaving at 4.15 :T
Also escaped threat of Timbuctoo (sp?) as boss apparently went off on leave while I was off swanning about - so can't send me there :T:T
Lots of MSE things to look forward to next week (sad, isn't it?)
Anyway, I still have to walk small dogs, cook supper, or rather reheat it - left over curry. Much nicer than it sounds! Also sort out spreadsheet thingies as end / beginning of month, and do some tidying up. Hugs to poorlies, good luck with stethscope shopping and I LOVE the t shirt Fay - My OH definitely needs one!0 -

Very Exciting news!!! Doing the end of month comps has definately paid off! I have won a weeks ski holiday in France! From the Sunday Times!!
Really is fab as it has been a year blighted by ill health and will be fabulous to have a holiday next year!!
Also DH paid £600 off of CC and saved about £60 as had ten prescriptions in total which would have cost £72 but have a pre-payment card!!
So after not feeling very well this morning it has turned out to be a great DFW day!:beer:Thank you to all posters:beer:0
