Just been offered the following from BT Options
Option 1 Broadband £9.29
Anytime calls £4.95
Line rental £9.25
TOTAL £23.49
Was paying about £34.00
Anyone got any better, think this looks good

haggle more for the broadband. they can give you it for £7.33 a month0

Tried the £7.33 but was told it was now £12.27. Apparently because our exchange has no other ISP's in it they are not allowed to give the discounted rate?:huh::huh::huh: Why?? because there is no competition they HAVE to charge you more?????? Because OFCOM say so????? Doesn't make sense (apart from the fact that BT want to rip you off!!!!!!!)0

Check samknows site and you can see for yourself what other isp is in your area(you need to be in market 3 to get the lower price deals)Are you in market 1 or 2 ??
Its not a case of being ripped off.
BT cant give you a lower price as they have not been deregualted in the market 1 and 2 areas.
This is about to change though so i would wait and see whats coming in the next few months.0
