For the last couple of weeks my sons laptop keeps blue screening and restarting. It happens totally randomly sometimes it will be fine all day then next it will do it 2 or 3 times a day. It never coincides with anything in particular.
Any ideas what could be causing the problem.
This is the error message he got when the laptop restarted after the last shut down.

Try and run some scans with Superantispyware and Malwarebytes. What security do you have on the laptop, ie antivirus, firewall etc. I take it its vista.0
-
Yes it is Vista, it has Avast antivirus and Spywareblaster, I thought it had another firewall on but it seems to be running on just the windows/microsoft firewall.
I've run Malwarebytes and it hasn't come up with anything, I'll try the superantispyware now.0 -
