looks like the matter has been closed. I got my money back through the chargeback system. Looked iffy at one point because oceanwavemobiles don't issue invoices/receipts/returns receipts/credit notes etc (wonder why) and these are usaully what you need for Chargeback.

I sent the bank all emial correspondence that clearly showed oceanwavemobiles said they would and had refunded me - but did not. Worth messing around with the bank in the end.

I'm still investigating all their fake reviews and doing some digging - collating all the fake names and reviews and how they tie up. Gonna send a load of further info to the websites and trading standards. seems like a lot of hassle you might say - but half an hour here and there when i've nothing better to do, is worth it. This bunch of A*holes properly rubbed me up the wrong way (and reading other reviews a lot of other people too).

Robert Hardy works for Oceanwavemobiles - and yet he leaves fake reviews for the company. Other names are cropping up also.

Just checking in also to keep this post appearing on the Google search for the Company.

I have my money back - but I just can't seem to stop Oceanwavemobile bashing. probably becasue they are a two bit company, run by a D*ick who rips off honest people. If you EVER think of buying a phone from them, search for their reviews. The good ones are most liekly fake and the bad ones just keep on coming!

Took £200.00 from me - no phone - no refund - no communication! What a scam site - why oh why do banks or fraud companies allow them to continue trading????? A mystery - so many ripped off - so many complaints and credit/debit card refunds - just do not understand how he has kept in business? I'm thinking of packing my job in and going into the same business venture - obviously rakes the money in! When will his time at Her Majestys pleasure begin? Can't happen too soon! Its not funny at all but it ends up a drama of ridiculous frustrated one sided emails! Going hysterically mad!!!! lol lol :A

Contact your bank / complain and ask them to do a 'chargeback'.

You can also use the account you set up with them to leave reviews about them in the section they leave for people to review the phones....

It's great fun - I used to leave them scattered around their site for them to try and find. They'd find a few and change them but I'd just leave more.

Keep plugging away. My attitude was to just be a pain in the !!!! to them (him)

Beware!! dont buy from this company, you could lose your money!!!. Ordered a new phone April 2012. They told me they sent it second class post !! not even Special Delivery as any other reputable company would have done. Surprise surprise it didn't turn up! They invited me to fill a form in to claim £80 off Royal Mail .What they didn't know was I have worked 31 years for Royal Mail!.
Royal Mail was never going to pay £80 compensation out for a lost package that was just sent 2nd class! If they did.... everyone would be saying they'd sent stuff and putting a claim in to Royal Mail! IT WAS OBVIOUSLY A DELAYING TACTIC, AND SOME PEOPLE WOULD JUST WRITE THE LOSS OFF!!!
In the end, thanks to the intervention of Police at Ascot, they refunded me my money!
