    Evening everyone,
Don't feel like I've got as much done today as I would have liked. I'm finding my days going really quickly. I was out all morning, so just had this afternoon to get things done.
Going to watch 2012 on Orange Wednesday tonight and cause dinner is veggie my guess is my DH will want to eat out too! Hopefully that bit won't cost too much!
No gardening done today. I might have to have a big push on Saturday with the whole family!
Will let you know my spends from tonight, tomorrow. I'm hoping its not too much!

I've only just logged in (having got home from work), and was just thinking the thread has been a bit quiet today :rotfl:

  • Hi Everyone!

Blair-How did it go? Was thinking of you.
SF-How are you feeling today..listen to the wise sage's words (aka Bails).

Well I have got some great news. Mr SFT 's computer support sessions have increased from 4 per week to 7 per week-a significant rise in income will follow. I am sooooooo happy.

Lots of lovey school work to keep me busy tonight..mmm..what shall I choose... marking/reports or sticking holly leaves and berries on Christmas puddings..maybe I need to make a priority list too....:rotfl:

Think the winter has us all occupied!.
I have been trying without much success to work on a future budget.
My fuel is already out of this world, and thats with the smaller car. I am spending around £45 a week still on fuel. Thats running around after my family.
I know that its not part of the challenge, but its still not sustainable.
I have had a wake up call myself, with one of my (2) accounts, only having 57p in when I logged on today!. How I did tht I dread to think.
Time has been so busy, and spent on others in the family that I just cannot keep my records up to date very well.
(School report:- Mooloo could do better!!)
    I have all the knowledge
    I have all the skills
I have lived a frugal (ish) live for many years
So why have I lost the plot??
DS is getting so much money out of me these days, I have gone soft!!!
Twins - well they are breaking the bank!
Biggest of Mooloo only costs me a bite of dinner on the odd Wednesday!. Thats not too bad really.
Think I have had a bit of a wake up call, that life really is tough, and that I do not have any contingencies left to rely on.
Will have to divert some of the funds from the rent account, just to make sure I dont go over.
I have until 28th November to build back up the funds I have spent out of the rent!.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

    Evening everyone.

Just a quick visit tonight - I have lots of work to be getting on with as per usual. Today went okay, just had one year 8 class which was really hard work but that was it for today. Had a meeting after school so I had to walk home in the dark which isn't that great, plus it was chucking it down! Nice and warm in my room now though :)

Had another NSD today - that takes my November total up to 11 which is good. Even though I'm racking up the NSDs I still seem to have little money though, but I guess I am buying christmas presents in dribs and drabs.

thanks bails and sft and BB for their kind words xx

Mooloo, not sure if you are wanting advice or just a listening ear. So rather than give you unwanted 'good ideas' I'm sending you a big hug instead. Hang on in there.

    Hello fellow frunshkins,

Not much to report here apart from that my budget isn't doing too well :(, although maybe it just feels like that because I haven't kept record properly for a while (online bank statement not too bad actually).

But had a little breakthrough today. Wednesdays are my salad days as BF is out playing footie and he usually gets his own tea (quick fix from the shop) but as he's skint he asked if we have any leftovers in the freezer, God bless him, there is hope :)

    Hi all,

SFT - THANKYOU for your words of advice, they really helped put things in perspective, you are an angel

It went quite well today. They said I don't have enough UCAS points to do Rural Land Management - needed 300, I have 220, so a full A level short. I knew that, but thought I would apply anyway. She said I could do it, but would have to do lots of work experience and it would take 7 years instead of 3   I also applied for Agriculture, which the chap sounded very postive about and like he would accept me. Was told they would send out letters within 24 hours, so I should know within a week hopefully. Oh, and I did not have a group interview after all, so not sure what that was all about

Oh and re: the agricultural work experience, was told to be prepared to do it voluntarily (which I was anyway). This would mean I was not eligible for JSA, so think I will have to get a little part time job next year, plus make any extra income from Ebay, etc - will be hanging around with you I think Nyk!

Anyway, we stopped at IKEA on the way home and I did not spend any money - bought some candles, but Mum paid for them for me :D so another NSD. Have decided to go home tomorrow, as am very tired tonight.

Hope everyone is alright, and sending hugs to Mooloo and SF. Chin up!
