EA neglects to mention view of nuclear power plant

    We visited Dungeness while on holiday this year.

    It really is a stunning place and quite extraordinarily beautiful.

    I would live there tomorrow given the chance and, yes, we went right down to the part next to the power station.

    It's like nowhere else I've been in the UK.

    I have to agree with you, I love the place and if it were not for work and commuting I would definately be tempted.

    Dungeness is an odd area - very bleak and windswept, though at the same time very beautiful too. There is, of course a HUGE power station there but there is also a disused lighthouse with associated tourist attraction. You can even get a tiny arms train right from New Romney Station to the Dungeness spit.

    Most strange of all, I was down there for a holiday and witnessed a rock concert in the area - perfect place for a big gig if you ask me as its so far from most civilisation save the few fishermans cottages in the shadows of the power station.
