Erm, if you're idiot enough not to check when it's well known there's a power plant at Dungeness, then it's your own fault. You go out that way, what do you see on the horizon? A POWER PLANT! I used to live round there, it's laughable that some people are so ridiculous about it.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

The Chief Executive of the NAEA has just been on TV and said the ommission of the photograph of the greater area, thus alerting people to it's environment, is not wromg. But oh yes it is and he clearly is NOT aware of all the laws that EAs must work within.
Apart from PMA there is law that is little heard of, but which I feel covers EAs which is called "Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading". I hope someone puts in a complaint to the TS.:mad:A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. The nuclear power plant brings a lot of tourists to the area. It's part of the bleak beauty of the place. I heard somewhere that the area is the only classified desert in Europe. Anybody looking for property in the area would know about it.Been away for a while.0

Don't see the problem myself, it's not like they said there are no power stations nearby, you could look the other way!
It's not like they are tricking you, even on the rightmove link it shows the power station in the map.
I'd be more annoyed about something that smelt or had noise 24/7 not being mentioned.0 -
this is why you should never buy off the net.0

Zoopla
Number of sales 1
Average sale £7,000,000,000
Property worth
£200.000 - £7,000,000,000
Tempt me price
I suspect the Iranians will be booking viewings.0 -
"The bungalow may be next door to a power station but after a while you forget its even there" - said the three headed vendor0

I'd be more worried about construction. A lot of houses down that way were originally railway carriages and similar. There are a lot of rundown shack-like buildings. But if you are one of the many working in the plant, then why not? Many local fishermen types have been replaced by arty Londoners with money to burn.Been away for a while.0

You'll save a fortune on light bulbs as after 3 months you will glow in the dark, especially if you were to go swimming in the sea there.
I can't understand why the estate agent didn't mention it, its not like you will miss it if you went to do a viewing. Well unless the estate agent has a really large set of hay bales to hide it under.0
