blood in my cat's poo...

Thank you again for replies - it is Purina One, and when I checked the "neutered" one it turns out it has 15% wheat in it, which might be a reason? We have given her the kitten food only since yesterday morning (until we can get some of the "sensitive" stuff again which never seemed to cause a problem), fingers crossed this will make it stop.0

Thanks for that. One of my cats had that. He would also do a little miaow when starting the poo and it was part hard and part soft (NICE!!!!!)
The vet diagnosed Colitis and to put him on a dry food diet only so I switched him onto James Wellbeloved.
Maybe the sensitive food previously helped the cats stomach and now that it has stopped it may be irritating the stomach now.
How about trying putting the cat back on the sensitive stuff and see if the blood is there or not?
Pants's colitis is kept under control with JWB now thankfully! and we very rarely see blood now.
I do sympathise though because I was really worried when I couldn't stop the blood
