Morning!
Mega quick post again, work is panning out to be pretty busy and my Mum is feeling a bit blue so I'm planning on spending most of the afternoon cheering her up (cup of tea, fruit shorties and Lost in Austen anyone?) so won't be on much today. Going to try and slot in some STP tracks somewhere though.
Got an email from PayPal this morning to say 'I've Got Funds'! So that's £23.03 I can transfer into my bank next week (want to make sure its cleared and in savings by the start of Dec) Also sent a request for my Ciao money, and have my old phone bagged up and ready to post after work today.
That's about it! Do love those shoes though TeteNeed to waterproof my Uggs today so I can wear them in the rain without stressing!!

They are calling it a cleebration of her life, which is really nice.
This is seriously lovely Wendz. At least if you're wearing bright colours you'll feel a bit more uplifted and like you can share little stories and remember her. In my head black = automatic seriousness, I personally hate the idea of people sat around gloomily wearing black after you've gone. Hoping it all goes okay, how's your friend coping? (and you for that matter!) x0 -
How come you get student discount?
Dunno reallyThink it's something to do with how the NUS cards now cost £10, I think the union gets a proportion of that money so they opened it up to staff
Hey, won't NIM be able to get one if he's on the OU course?
Morning Cinny, your plan for the afternoon sounds lovely and would definitely cheer me up so hope your mum enjoys it. You've reminded me about Ciao money so that's been added to my to-do list :TWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Aye NIM can get one, he just hasn't applied for one yet. Annoying as it saves money in so many places! Will tell him he can save at McDonalds, that'll prompt him into getting one!
I do love your boots too Tete, they'd look nice with a lot of things.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I am doing OK and my friend is just about as well. Is annoying I can't be there to take her out and distract her as she is down in southampton but my friends who are down there are doing a good job.
WE had an exciting start to the morning with police banging on the door after the people in the flat below us...interesting.0 -

Oh Wendz, horrible! Not a good way to start the week! I'm sure you're keeping in touch with your friend though and she knows you're there so that's what's important.
Dinah while we're on the subject of discounts, my friend was telling me about http://www.visitteesvalley.co.uk/site/whats-hot/happening-pass this morning - discounts for various things in the area, not sure whether it would interest you. Get NIM to get his NUS quick smart, it will pay for itself within a month!

Evening
My Mum is all cheered up! But my Dad has come in from work and they're mid arguement so I'm not sure how long it'll last!
Got up to £7 on STP so I've withdrawn that. Will round my mobile money up to £30 which is just what I wanted. Going to withdraw that into my current account when it clears - hopefully on Wednesday!
Going to start building up a mini stash of money in my paypal again too, so I can withdraw a decent amount when Quidco pay me the start of next month.
Not much else to report. It's been a NSD and my Mum bought me a Chocolate advent. It's a 3d Disney Princess one - SCORE!0 -
Sounds like you've had a productive day Cinny. Good to hear your mum has cheered up, lets hope the arguement doesnt last long!
