Afternoon everyone!
I dont blame you for going onto contract Cinny, i would hate to be on PAYG, and for me it works out more expensive. At the moment im on a sim only deal and my phone is ancient so think after christmas i might treat myself to a new one!
Dont think i will be paying much off the credit cards this week, we went christmas shopping and then yesterday OH sat on my glasses and snapped them in half! They were beyond repair so this morning had to go and buy some new ones - they wont be ready for a week though!! But means no spare cash this week.
I missed x factor last night, going to watch it on catch up before the results.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
John and Edward were classic last night, loved it hehe. Am not sure who will be in bottom two, I think LLoyd should though.
That is annoying about the glasses Flower, I hate paying for stuff like that.0 -

It is very annoying, however looking on the plus side - if that happened even 6 months ago we would have bought new ones straight on the credit card, but we havent this time. We might not be able to pay as much off this week but at least the debt hasnt increased!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Morning
Just a quick update as work is going to be hetic this morning.
My £50 from Orange has tracked on Quidco, and I've gone through them again to cash in my old phone for another £3.70 cash back meaning I've made £57.30 on Quidco this weekend :T Plus £23 coming from envirofone and a £2 debenhams voucher for my tinny phone that makes a grand total of £82.30 extra made this weekend. Woop! Looks a lot better all added up like that.
Had a fab day at OHs yesterday, his Mum makes some of the best roasts ever! Watched the Wizard of Oz too so it was majorly feeling like Christmas. Came home and started sorting cards out while watching the results show. Super glad John and Edward got through - Loved them as the Ghostbusters! OHs kinna Stepdad was saying he thinks Simon is trying to warm to them in hope we kick them out as they won't be winding him up anymore. Suppose he has a point!
Crikey about your glasses Flower - At least you managed to get them sorted without getting into any more debt. Silly OHs and their bums though!0 -
Well done on the extra money making at the weekend Cinny - i would be pretty pleased with that!
I think its absolutely hilarious that John and Edward got through, some people get so worked up about it - people status's on facebook change within seconds of them getting through ranting about it. So i changed mine to wind people up :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Spoke to OH about using the savings to pay off debt. He got quite fustrated about it all, found out thats hes secretly hoping that after christmas we will start looking for somewhere so we can move back out - and hes been looking on rightmove for what we can afford.
So now i dont know what to do, i so wanted to get this debt paid before we thought about moving back out!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Personally I agree with you, this debt could hang over you for years if you move back out before you are ready, has he thought of how much of a better quality of life you'd have if you had that money spare?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi Flower (and Queen of the thread, Cinny)
That's v sweet of your OH to start looking for somewhere to live! Even so, it would seem sensible to pay off the debt before you move out - not sure where you live, but wouldn't staying with his folks just one extra month save you about £600? So even if you just paid off the CC before you moved out it would be a good start - if he's desperate to move soon...LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -

Ooh, I'm a Queen!
I agree with you on this Flower! Hopefully he'll see sense, and even if he doesn't it could still take a couple months to find somewhere you both like which would = more debt busting months.
Managed to get a quiet 15minutes at work, so that's the DooYoo + BeautyJudge reviews done for today! Applied for todays free product too, fingers crossed I get it!0 -
Cinny can you link Beauty Judge again? I didn't join before as I didn't think you'd get any products, but think I might sign up now!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
