Spoken to OH and he likes the idea of Valentines as his debt free day :D Hoping we'll be able to do it before then, but it might be pushing it!

Need to re-work my budgets with saving as I'm always playing the 'I'm Skint!' card because of it and I want to take over the buying side from OH (reason why his debt isn't shrinking!) so really need to re-jig things!

You've done a lot this morning Wendz!! How was Sister Act btw?

I've just got back from the gym and think my whole body is going into meltdown!! I was there for nearly 2 hours - very unlike me! Did a half an hour work out on the body plates, i never go on them but i know i am going to feel it tomorrow.

Right need to spend the rest of my day off doing something constructive. BP, ciao and dooyoo are calling.

And then i have a couple more boxes in our room that i need to go through - should keep me busy!

Body Plates - are those the things that jiggle you?! Well done with the 2 hours. Crikey!

Good luck on BP. I should be able to redeem tomorrow. Then have a cheeky few spins on the WW to get my points back up :D

Yep thats them, and i thought i would have a go because i read in a magazine that its a cheats way to exercise - well they were lying! If you do it properly they really hurt!! It was really quiet in the gym so one of the guys that works there did a session on them with me and showed me all the proper exercises to do. It is definitely not easy!

  • I don't even know what body plates are so that shows how often I go to the gym.

Good idea to jiggle the budgets Cinny - you don't want to keep dipping into debt because of the amount you're trying to save!

Kind of cancels out the debt clearing, right? Ideally I'd want £60 spends, £69 to save and £30 for board which = £159 and my normal wage packet is £144 so it's only £15 a week I need to make. Easy done... right?

Nice win Flower :D Is it sad I'm excited for my first redeem?!
  • £15 a week seems a lot to me! I never seem to make very much on Dooyoo etc, it's taken me about 8 months to save £50 for my box set!

Have you managed to get it Tete?! Seems like you've been saving a while for it!

£15 would be 60 tracks on STP 5 nights week, which is erm.. never going to happen. 40 tracks would be £10 though which isn't too bad, would just need to make £5 up from somewhere else! Just not quite sure where exactly..

ETA: Saying that, if I'm getting a good couple freebies a week from that site I posted today, that'll cut down my beauty buys. And if I'm getting £5 every week or so from BP that'll be covering birthdays so I think £50 would be enough each week? £60 would be better though, obv!

No I'm still about 9000 miles off, it takes me ages! I'm 'in the zone' at the min though so hopefully soon!!

Yes BP seems to add up fairly quickly I have to say - that'd be about £20 per month average wouldn't it?

ETA - hurrah - I've finally 'gone green' - can get on with some work now!
