:j:jI have finally reached 20,000 miles on dooyoo!! Woke up really early this morning so did loads of rating and also did another review, after days of not doing any. Not going to redeem yet though, my next target is to get to 25,000 within a week.
Also did loads of rating on ciao, so hopefully that will pay off aswell.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Ooh and i am also upto the blue level on ciao!

  • HI everyone, wow sounds like everyone has been lucky! Well done to Wendz and Flower for the Ciao vouchers (though I agree I'd rather have had Amazon!) and to Poddle for the £60! :)

I did get the fringe! I asked for a blunt one and when she cut it in (after saying "are you sure you're sure you're sure??") I hated it immediately, but she sort of made it a bit choppier and I'm used to it now and rather like it :) Went to a stately home yesterday as they had an exhibition of children's TV through the ages, got to see Muffin the Mule, Paddington, Brum and Makka Pakka, was fab :) Had some lovely soup in the posh cafe whilst watching the rain swirl about outside, it was quite nice, except I'd worn a skirt and damp tights are never nice! Had my aunty and uncle's Siver anniversary party last night which was great, lovely to reconnect with the rellies. All we've done today is attempt caramel shortbread, looks ok but haven't dared try it lest I drop dead instantly of a heart attack. Can't believe how dark it is already, feels so late, want to do a bit of moneymaking and tidying before Emma at 9 ... Pay day tomorrow at long last!

Hope everyone's well and had a lovely weekend!

PS who said about the S&G hatbox? Damn you!! :D

Flower - well done on Dooyoo, I am saving up for a cheque so I have a while to go.

Tete - Glad you had a nice weekend and that you like the fringe!

Glad I'm not the only one!! They were dressed up like little tic tacs this week bless 'em :D
You're showing me up Flower! Well done on getting to 20,000 on dooyoo, shouldn't take you long to get to 25,000 either.

Yay to the fringe Tete! Glad you like it! Sounds like you had a lovely weekend. Was Emma good last night? OH was moaning it was 'girly rubbish' and he put John Tucker must Die on  so I missed it.

Not much to report from this end! Went to F&B as planned yesterday, had the Philly burger and it was horrible! All cheese sauce and I couldn't even pick it up so only ate 1/4  Went to see The Goods after that, which was seriously good so kind of balanced out the bad food! Ermm, nipped to Meadowhall too and spent a little too much on Laura Ashley wrapping paper :o It is so pretty though!
Got up to 6600 points on BingoPort so at least I'm making headway with one part of my money making plans.

Not much planned tonight money wise, going to try and to 35/40ish tracks on STP. Wanting to catch up on Emma on the iPlayer after tea, and wrap a couple presents as I'm dying to use my Laura Ashley wrapping paper!

Have a nice day everyone x

    Morning Cinny and everyone else,
It is my week off and I am awake haha, so much for a lie in.

That is funny your OH conmplained about Emma being girly and then put John Tucker must die on, myOH wouldn't let me watch John Tucker and we wathed Bad Boys 2 hehe.

I am up to £4.42 on Ciao so hopefully will be able to cash it out on Friday.
  • Looks like I have some Ciao catching up to do! Still only on about £1.68. Gah!

Yep really enjoyed Emma last night Cinny, you could really see how it was used as the basis for Clueless! Made me want to read the book, buut I'm still struggling on with Pride and Prejudice - I find the old fashioned language hard to concentrate on when there's the least distraction like on a train or in the hairdressers.

Love the sound of the LA wrapping paper! I popped in to look at the fabric yesterday but it's all very curtainy!

Enjoy your week off Wendz! I'm only in 2 days this week then off to Bath, can't wait!

Yay! Glad you like it! :T And that would be me.. but it's only a rumour that it will be OOTW, I hope so!

That's a shame! I thought that looked alright. At least you didn't pay full price!

ETA - Looks like everyone's OHs were in charge of the TV viewing last night then! :D We watched Twilight cuz my sister has been raving about it. I only thought it was alright! True Blood is better.

Glad you're happy with your fringe Tete - next thing you'll be frustrated about how quickly it will grow out!

Ha ha, I dominated the remote yesterday and forced OH to watch X factor! I do think he secretly enjoys it, but he sloped off to do manly things like taking all the kitchen cupboard doors off - not just for fun, but so I can paint them this week while he's away! Then we're going to re-tile the kitchen and conservatory next weekend - phew :)

    Ooh, Laura Ashley wrapping paper!

Zig - The burger was nice, well the 1/4 I managed to eat was but it was seriously sickly with all the cheese and mayo, bleh! Felt a heart attack coming on after one bite

Sounds like you're doing well on Ciao Wendz :T I'm at about £2.92, but I haven't put a review on or rated since Friday so go figure really!!

Tete - I didn't know that's what Clueless was based on! I really love Romola Garai in I Capture the Castle but she doesn't make a good Emma for me :undecided But then I'm used to the Kate Beckinsale version!

Right, I've forced myself to come up with a To Do list for tonight/today so I at least get something done. I've been completely useless recently.

    - 35 STP Tracks
    - Move 1 review over to Ciao and rate
    - Find some books to put on Amazon
    - Make (healthy) dinner for tomorrow @ work
    - Wrap some presents (yay!)

The books I ordered from Amazon with my DooYoo voucher should turn up today, so that'll be my Mum sorted for Christmas and my Dad 2/3rds of the way! Need to look for another Christmas Present for my Dad though as I saw what I wanted to get him in Boots yesterday and wasn't really impressed with it :undecided
