Went to see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Couples Retreat movie wise - You were right Zig, that little kid is so freakin' sweet! The Doctor Parnassus movie was pretty good too, OH thought it was over hyped though.
OH wants to go and see the Doctor Parnassus, and the Meatballs films. I only want to see the first one because of Heath Ledger. Is it worth paying to see it?

Ermm, if I paid £6.90 to see it I'd be a bit tiddled! It was good, put pretty confusing. I doubt me and OH would have seen it if we didn't have the cards. How would you know if he gambled Cinny?
Because he's utterly useless at lying. Plus I trust him, don't see why he would when he's promised not too.
Not sure what you mean there Dinah? If you rate the review you pop up on the 'Review Ratings' table next to the review, I guess you just have to rate them in hope they'll rate you back more than anything.0 -

ThanksI think that might be one to wait for on dvd then. Unless OH really wants to see it then we might go on an Orange Wednesday.
While it's in my head, my OH works in a garage where it's just him and his boss. He only takes time off when we go abroad. So he only uses like a quarter of his holiday allowance. But he refuses to just take a day off so we can chill at home, or have a day out so we don't have to go on a weekend when it's busy. This really annoys me! Anyone else not use all their holiday?! I think my OH feels bad that it would be leaving his boss but my view is that he's entitled to it so he should use it. He also thinks that you should have a proper holiday, to use your holiday. Whereas I think it's your holiday to do what you want with!

Believe me I use all my holiday! I got extra this year as we get between christmas and new year off so booked a few days off before as well. I get to carry over 2 days to next year but have 2.5 left so will prob book off a day to do some xmas shopping soon. I have next week off...can't wiat. Your OH shouldnt feel guilty Zig he is entitled to time off and should take it!0

He shouldnt feel bad about leaving his boss, its his holiday to use as he likes! Whether its proper holiday, a weekend away or a day to chill at home, he should take advantage of that!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

Thanks Wendz and Flower, I knew I was right.
I've been with him for 4 years and he's never had a day off sick, and the only holiday he's taken is for when we actually go on holiday. So he obviously never uses it all. I'm gonna try and persuade him to take more days off! We only have Saturday together cuz I work Sunday so it would be nice to have more time together.

No need to be sorry, Zig! We all need a moan every now and then
I don't use all my holiday, I don't even think I come close! I just book off the days I'm actually going away. OH is moaning at me to book the 27th November off so we can go see New Moon though
ETA: Wendz - I want to work at a place that gives out cool freebies! It's been almost a year since I got a freebie worth having.0
