Thanks purple and sarah and good luck with your claim charlie, agree about the lovely OH!

Was so pleased with myself as I have just managed to order a Debenhams voucher from Toluna then I realised I have spent the best part of an afternoon determinedly clicking through those stupid 15 point polls to get it! Only wanted the voucher for some shoes for a wedding - which is in 3 weeks so no chance of it arriving in time :rotfl:Think this challenge has finally made me lose the plot!

    Does Saving money count ?

I've bought some birthday presents for neice and friend's daughter whose birthday's are coming up this month as well as an early bday present for my son, and as items were on sale I saved nearly £15. Can I add this?

I made £2 from a GFK trial - converted into Amazon vouchers

Turia - some people do count savings and some don't. Its really up to you. I don't because I would always try to make savings anyway and its not something extra you have made
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

    Hiya Jesa

yep agreed :) I'm wondering if I should put £15 in my money pot and then use that for paying off some debt at end of the month :)

    thanks for the response !

my view - if its a saving that is a one off through a specific focus or action I count it - eg switching coca-cola to Lidl Freeway cola is saving £20 a month - so I counted it the first month but won't count it again as then the lower rate is my budget

The argument against is that we are all meant to be MSE with what money we have, and this board is about making extra money - but being too strict lowers engagement and momentum so I think - if you are happy with it then we will be too - easily pleased !!
