How to get real time market information?

Is there a website that gives access to real time information and reports about what is moving the markets? Not just the actual indexes, I'm interested in what news is moving them.
I know Bloomberg for example has the economic calendar, but sometimes I watch the index, then I can see a sudden move up or down, but not apparently coinciding with any expected key data releases. When seeing the sudden change is there anywhere to view the data or information responsible for the sudden mass moving in the market?

http://www.google.co.uk/finance?q=LON%3AMKS (e.g.) - they have flags on the graph relating to stories down the right hand side - that the sort of thing you're after?Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Google is not real time for share prices - try http://www.moneyam.com/ - real time prices but you have to keep refreshing the browser every few minutes.0

They are NOT real-time - they're the same as Google. On the page you linked to you'll see:Prices delayed by 15 minsConjugating the verb 'to be":

It costs companies to get real time.
15 minutes delay is free.
Most companies who have real time charge. I have heard of a few free ones but none come to mind.0 -
You are wrong Paul - register and you can see real time share prices for free (albeit for a short time and then you have to refresh to see them again) The only thing which is delayed is the FTSE index (ie the total - not the share prices themselves) At the bottom of the page it says
All share prices are LIVE - FTSE indices are delayed unless you are a 'Plus' subscriber.
I know it's not delayed because I often log in at the start of the day's trading and they start moving at 8 whereas Google starts moving at 8.15 or 8.20.0 -
Interesting, and worth a bit more investigation, I think. The registration page
https://www.moneyam.com/register/userDetails/?presetSubId=1
does indicate you do get live prices for the free registration, though it has an asterisk with no further qualifications I can see at the moment.
Maybe it's a limited subset, as the premium service offers level 2 and "unlimited" live prices, or maybe it doesn't automatically refresh?Debbie0 -
shareprice.co.uk/advanced has real-time prices. It's free to sign up.0

I think that's right Debbie - I have never paid but I think if you do pay then it will display prices indefinitely rather than for a couple of minutes at a time + I think there are other services (eg forums, chat) which are only open to subscribers who pay.0

advfn - have to register then live prices.
shareprice.co.uk - free online info and free application for iphone aswell - live prices0
