The Wii motion plus attachment isn't really necessary, as only a handful of games are currently supported. Although Wii sports resorts is a great game, you get one Motionplus attachment with it, and if you need a second one, they are quite cheap on Play.com.

Personally I wouldn't bother with a charging station. Some used to have a habit of destroying the controllers. I just use rechargable batteries and keep a spare set charged.
It's best to get a second remote and a second nunchuck. I wouldn't bother getting Wii Play as it's cack.
If you buy Mario Kart, and you should, you get one wheel anyway and a second isn't expensive.It's my problem, it's my problem
