With DLA you have to write the child at his or her worst, I would say in your case, get someone to fill the form out for you, they know what to write to help you get DLA, phone your local citizens advice, they will advise you on who can fill the form out for you. When I was last in hospital receiving my treatment I was at this point waiting for my DLA from to go through, I spent over a month filling it out, going on different websites to get information on how to fill it out.. I got talking to an old man, we started talking about DLA and he said he actually had someone to go out to his house to fill in his form.. but at this point i had already filled mine out myself and been refused times before so I automatically thought i'd be refused.. but yesterday found out I had been successful.. but i'd say do get someone who knows what to write to do it for you0

Yes, because if they can sometimes have more then one.. put that down.. add extra pieces of information into your form, don't just write in the boxes.. clip pieces of paper on.. and get leaflets on the childs condition and pop them in too!!0

Absolute rubbish, and the easiest way to get refused or even investigated for fraud. You should give evidence of good/ better and bad days, and detail what proportion of time each type of day applies to.
John Fox, you really do need to get specialist advice on your DLA claim.Gone ... or have I?0 -

More bad advice. The DM has medical guides that they can refer to, along with medical reports relating to the claimant. They will not be impressed if people start sending in information that is not specific to them, it just creates extra work for them.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Exactly.. good and bad bays??????? arent the bad days at the worst????!!????0

Yes, you give an account of both good and bad days, not just the bad.
No, I am not a specialist, but from the information you have given I imagine I have dealt with many more successful (and honest) claims than yourself.Gone ... or have I?0 -
well dmg.. you better be getting on to the consultants then.. I think you are VERY RUDE!0
