I have a platic basket on the shelf and the veg trays from my old fridge in the bottom, which were the perfect size to fit side-by-side.It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

I built shelves for mine from just cheap white melamine from B&Q. I used the narrowish stuff so it would fit in front of the pipework but it is standalone so can be taken out if you have a blockage etc.
I have 3 shelves, the top one has only maybe got 4 inches of space (height) but is perfect for scourers, black bags and anything small.
The middle one has a little more space for dishwasher tabs etc and the bottom one can stand bottles. It's surprising how much more accessible everything is now even although the shelves themselves are really very small.
There's also a space at the bottom where we can store longer/bigger things on the actual unit base itself beside the pipework.
Maybe you could work round yours similarly? It's really not hard to do.Herman - MP for all!0 -
When I moved into my rented flat there was a rectangular washing up bowl in the cupboard under sink and my sink is round:rotfl:! So I use that to store all my bottles. I have one of those 'things' from Ikea that store carrier bags (tall plastic tube with holes) under there too. My dishwasher tablets box lives next to bowl, and my dustpan and brush live one the other side of it. Works for me!

Oh this isnt going to sound very good but i have plastic baskets on the floor of my Kitchen cupboard but because i have plumbing pipes running inside it as well so cant have a shelf, i have got a line of string in there as well tied it up and now hang all the aerosols with the handles lopped over the string.
Oh i have the kitchen bin on the inside of the door as well so couldnt have had a shelf even if there wasnt no pipes in there.
I would love to have less cleaning stuff in there but have not found Stardrops for sale anywhere for the last 6 months. Not in my Adsa,Savers,Iceland,Tesco or any of the £1 shops0 -

I have one shelf in mine. On the bottom left is our bin, one of those little cupboard bins, and I've put spare sponges and washing up brushes behind it.
On the top left is the sink bowl so there's not much room but I can fit a pile of folded teatowels under it, so they all go there.
Top right is my cleaning stuff, the dusters and wipes are folded up there with the spray bottles in front in a row. All of these are the same brand so they look quite neat.
Bottom right is laundry, my laundry liquid and conditioner are lined up like on a supermarket shelf so I've got room to stock up if they're on offer. I've also put some cleaning stuff there that I don't use very often, things like oven cleaner.0 -
My DH made a MDF shelf that fits around the pipes which is fab. I have 2 side bits of space too as I have a butler sink and it is supported by 2 brick walls, so dishwasher salt/tablets go on left side of wall; cleaning fluids middle section between walls; spare washing up gloves and sponges on right side of second wall! It's the most organised part of my house0

Hi calley
I got stardrops this week from Homebargains for 89p for 750ml. I normally get it from A$da for £1.88 for 1L. It has gone up in price loads in the past year, but HomeBargains is the best price I have seen in ages.
