Under the sink

I use a wicker basket to keep most of the cleaning materials under the sink. I've tried other methods but the basket is the most useful. I just pull it out when I need something. I think I would find that shelf irritating especially as someone already mentioned, something gets spilt underneath.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Mine are kept neatly on the shelf but fot the stuff I use regually I have an old horse grooming kit box (about £2) and it has a handle so when I am cleaning everywhere I just carry that round with me and I dont have to keep going back to the cupboard

I knew I shouldn't have looked at this thread. Just spent ages looking at the betterware site and managed to put £70 worth of stuff into the basket
Didn't buy it though, shock at the total cost made me close the window :rotfl:

Could i ask please how everybody keeps their cupboard under the sink?
I don't have a shelf in mine as the plumbing is in the way so all my cleaning stuff sits on the bottom and gets very untidy. I think i could do with something to put it all in but i'm not sure what. What does everyone else do?0 -
I've got my stuff all in plastic baskets I got from a pound store ages ago....makes it easier to get stuff in and out and stops it all from falling overAs my dad always used to say 'Just because you've got the money doesn't mean to say you have to spend it all at once'0

Stuff I don't use that often like carpet shampoo and shoe polish is in a plastic caddy with a handle so I can lift it out to root around. Everything else is in logical rows. For example, if I'm using polish, it usually means I'm blitzing so it will be in the same row as glass cleaner, bleach, vinegar etc and the laundry spot cleaner will be in the same row as washing powder, fabric softener, banana stain remover (brilliant stuff). The stuff that lives right at the front is always dishwasher tablets, clean cloths and anything I use daily.
OH hates it because he does what I call a 'man look' when he's trying to find something i.e. looks at the front row in an area the width of his face and if its not there he can't find it. I don't really have another option due to limited space0 -
mine is also untidy as I store carrier bags under there to use for rubbish, have cleared it out loads of times but it gets messy again really quick
things i use all the time are at the front0 -
I use a plastic crate I bought in Ikea for 99p. It fits all my cleaning stuff in there, as I haven't got lots, lol. Bleach, disinfectant spray, polish, floor cleaner and vinegar along with a selection of cloths and brushes.Call me what you like, I was a bit "tiddly" when I chose my username
