Currently she is allowed to claim the allowance and earn £95 weekly as additional employment - this could equate to £411.67 on a monthly payroll.

I believe she is only entitled to claim carers allowance if she works a maximum of 14 hours.

that could have been put more nicely,in fact it can depend on the number of hours worked especially in relation to minimum wage(which is what most people get nowadays)

  • It also depends on how many hours she actually spends caring for you.

My partner claiming Carers Allowance. We were told that as long as he is here it counts as caring as he lives with me. Moral guidance and here for when I need help. As I can go days or weeks with my mental health ok. Then placing myself in danger

    HI

To claim carers allowance the person being cared for needs to receive dla mid rate care or above. The person caring must provide 35 hours of care a week or more.

The person caring must be 16 or over, not in full time education and not earning more than £95 per week.

They are allowed 4 weeks break in caring for you a year and during this time they can earn what they like.

If she is earning more than £95 per week, bear in mind the 4 weeks break she can take and deduct this from her annual salary and then divide it up into a weekly amount.
