Hi All
Does anyone know if the code from OP Is still working as i get
the below message when i tried to order the item on Amazon i want.
There is a slight problem with your order. (See below.)
We're sorry, but we didn't recognize the promotional claim code you entered. Perhaps you typed it incorrectly or you are trying to use a code that's not valid for the items in your Shopping Basket? (Some promotional claim codes can only be applied to items sold directly by Amazon.co.uk.)
that code was only valid last month, and is on priceminister not amazon.
If you would like a code for £5 off on priceminister please feel free to PM me and I'd me happy to email you a current code.
I've been really pleased with this site, so far bought 2 books and a DVD all from 3 different sellers, awaiting a CD and planning to get a computer game this week too! :TA waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Hi Lolly3
I've just signed up to Quidco but as a complete novice i don't really know what i'm doing.I'm trying to buy an item from Amazon through Quidco but
don't know how to go about doing so.
Any help from all you experienced people on this thread would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking everyone in advance.
Hi, sorry if the title looks misleading- the promotional code is for priceminster, I called it an "amazon wannabe" as a "wannabe" is something that wants to be something else- in this case, I was saying priceminster wanted to be amazon- it is quite a similar site, but not the same. Hence you wont be able to use the codes for priceminster on amazons website. They are only valid on priceminster.
You can go through quidco though- other have, (I stupidly did not!) the code for £5 off your first order was on the first post- I'm not sure if it has changed since as it was a while back that I used it! It may be as I stated on the first page, -someone please correct me if I am wrong and it has changed!
Hope that helps:o0 -
Thanks for that information.oh i see i misunderstood and thought it
was an Amazon code.
Thank-you for your offer of a £5 code for priceminster .
I might look at priceminister at some point but at the moment i'm
buying this particular item from Amazon and so an amazon
code would be great.
Thanks once again.kitschkitty wrote: »that code was only valid last month, and is on priceminister not amazon.

through them or have i got that wrong.

Postage is included in the cost of all items on price minister.I don't think that there is a general code available now, only individual/personalised one use codes.

I think so- going on what other people say they seem to give you back around £6 and then you use a code from somewhere else- not sure of the new code, the old code seems to have expired. It is of the first order- so in effect, you get a £5 order for free, and then quidco gives you £6 or so cashback- seems better then free to me...(kicking myself as I did not use quidco so missed out on the £6 back!). I'm not the best person to ask about quidco, I've not used them.0 -
Quidco will give you £5 cashback on your first order.
Priceminister themselves will give you a code that you input at checkout and it will deduct £5 off a £10 spend on your first order.
So effectively you can spend £10 , pay £5 and get the £5 cash back!
I posted here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2060981 with a direct link to the current code, as even though I've been using MSE for a while I think I accidentally managed to break the rules by posting a different link/contact message:o .
I don't use cashback sites so don't know what others offer, but the quidco one seems very good, (especially if you are already with them)!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
thank you v much kitsch kitty, will try that code. it seems a very good deal0

if others want to know this code worked for me now AFFWELCOME5 for £5 off £5 spend, so effectively free!
although i spend more than £5, but with another £5 cash back on quidco it would come to about £2 for a set of a few in the night garden books, and another book aswel0
