Im on virgin contract and oh on virgin payg but his phone is old and pants! So want to buy him a new one for christmas, doesnt need to be anything fancy or the latest brand spanking new one out! Just a decent virgin phone.

Doesnt have to be virgin specifically - you can get any half decent unlocked phone and it will work with virgin.

However dialaphone do offer the LG cookie for about £79 (plus you can get some quidco cashback with that) and its on virgin. Probably not worth buying it till close to Christmas - prices will coming down.

Saying that the virgin mobile web site has the Nokia 6303 at about £90 and thats a better phone I think than the LG cookie.

I would say get the cookie unlocked £40+£10topup-£10quidco, though it is a reconditioned phone.

You don't say how much you want to pay per month, how many mins you need etc,
If you don't need a new phone, and you are outside your minimum contract period, you could get a phone for free, and give it to you oh. I have done it in the past.

I just got the Nokia 5800 for free, excellent phone! It's £22pm, 250mins, unltd text (3000 actually), unltid web (1gb), unltd calls virgin to virgin.
