Not updating with me either - looks like a repeat of the problem they had last week when I couldn't update automatically for several days - see the last post in the following

I really dont understand why people panic about updates. So its a few days late, its hardly the end of the world.................:idea:0

This is the 2nd such outage that I know of this month - which to my mind is at least 2 too many0

Not panicking, its just plain annoying!!! Especially when you're getting the damned popup and its not actually updating!
Cant disagree with that. But then a popup isnt anything major.
Personally I feel both AVG and AVAST are 'bloatware' that have far too much cr*p running
Avira is a nice and simple anti virus, no more, no less. If it didnt have any pops and there were no update problems then it would be absolutely perfect as an av (But as its free, im certainly not complaining about it):idea:0 -

Nothings perfect. I moved from avast to avira purely because avast has a lot of processes running.0 -
I have to say that I am really happy with Avira, much better than when I had AVG, but as a non-techie - when it doesn't update I worry because I wouldn't know if it was a virus or something that was stopping it updating.0
