Anyone going down the M25 29th/30th Sept.?

I know this maybe a long shot but is there anyone leaving the Crawley, West Sussex area today or tomorrow (Crawley, Horley, East Grinstead, Horsham, Redhill, Reigate, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill or even Brighton) and going to, near or past Cheshunt, Herts (EN7 6 postcode area, Junction 25 off the M25 or a mutually convenient meeting place)??

I've made menu cards, place cards & everything for the seating plan for my cousin's wedding on Saturday but because of last minute drop outs I have had to make some amendments and now there is the worry that something will go wrong with the post (which to be fair I have just waited 20 days for a parcel to be delivered First Class Recorded!!), the seating plan has still got to be made and everything taken to the venue so time is of the essence!

If you or someone you know is taking a trip down the M25 today or tomorrow at the latest & wouldn't mind dropping off a parcel I would be extremely grateful & interested to here from you.

I can't afford a courier & this is the money saving website!
I don't trust Royal Mail, we used to use "Special Delivery" Guaranteed Next Day & On Time for important legal documents where I worked, 9 times out of 10 they didn't arrive on time!
  • Good luck trying to find someone. Failing that, can you email or fax the venue the plans, and send the rest Special ?

Strange that, I have never once had a Special Delivery not arrive the next day, and I get quite a few.

    Good luck with your quest.

No they are all pieces backed on to card for someone else who is making the seating plan board so that the guests know which table they are sitting on.

BB78, why are you being so negative?

Every suggestion you have dismissed with some excuse.

You might get a better response is one of you answers was something like...

"Thanks for that idea, but in this case it is not suitable."

    Instead of...

I'm not being negative, dismissive or giving excuses, I'm giving my reasons for not using someone's suggestion, reasons based on fact or past experience and someone suggesting using a courier isn't exactly helpful, I had already thought of that!
Your suggestion also isn't helpful, thanks all the same!

You do sound ungrateful, how was the person suggesting a courier to know that you had already thought of that?

Sounds to me like you just want somebody to do your fetching and carrying for you, without I suspect any, or not much reward.
