All these low post counts. That's nice of everyone to join up to tell of this bargain :)

    are you suspitious?
i did notice how despite me telling someone that after buying games with the saved money they could have got a new console with games included for the same price that they have said they are still going to take advantage of the so called good offer.
i was only trying to help and if they dont wnat that help...
of course your suspition could be right.
  • Sorry I am not sure what you mean? I had a look around and I couldn't find a deal with GT prologue and I am on a limited budget. Thanks for the advice but unless you can tell me where to get one cheaper I think this is the best deal for me.

Anyway too late now as I have placed the order.

It's a new user who's signed up to tell us about this amazing website they just happen to have found.

I'm not saying it's spam but it's certainly very typical spamming behaviour.

    p.s. it's SUSPICIOUS! ;)

GT5 Prologue can be found on ebay for £5 at times, just keep an eye out.

I agree I paid the premium for my PS3, but it was one of those, I want it now buys, when I was in ASDA. lol

Morrisons deal, isnt evey store, but most supermarkets are doing same or better £200 deals.

Even if a spam thread, its getting the all the key words in for other deals for the search button.

You ordered a 2nd hand 40gb PS3 which has already broken down once and been repaired even after being told Morrisons are doing the 80gb version brand new for only £199, doesn't make any sense really does it ?

hi, i just noticed your point about how getting a second hand console would mean you could get some games for the difference in price between new and second hand. that is why i said that often with new consoles you can get 2 or 3 games bundled with them. so you could either get a second hand console with some games for £250 or get a new console with some games for £250. this was basically what i was saying. hmv stores often have good deals. i got my ps3 from hmv in april before the price cut. i got the 80gb console, dark knight blu ray, national treasure blu ray, killzone 2 and resistance 2 for £293. i could have dropped the blu rays and got another game if i had wanted to.

i know whats that is like as i have done that in the past unfortunately i often regret it. i remember trading in a perfectly good spectrum +2 for a commodore 64 which turned out to be iffy.
  • Thanks for the tip on Prologue - I knew it wasnt a full price game anyway and plan to get that later. The console at £165 is too much for me already as I am saving for a real car which is really far more important but... impulse purchase ;)

Geewhiz - I cant really afford 165 let alone 199 (if my local Morrisons even do that price, as I said I couldnt find it on their site).

Anyhow, now off to search for car buying tips..
  • Well, my PS3 arrived today. Downloaded some demos to try and watched a bit of iPlayer which is wicked :D

    Pleased with my purchase :)
