How do i cancle o2 contact without paying termination fee?

Hello everyone,

Any ideas on how do i cancle o2 contact without paying termination fee?

Ive seen better deals and better service elsewhere so i really want to terminate my contract but i dont want to pay the termination fee.

Replies would be much appreciated.

  • Unless you have a valid reason, such as they have breached the of the contract like changed core terms and conditions, or have removed coverage from your area. You cannot cancel, without paying to leave.
    Contracts are both ways and are to protect both you and the operator.

    But overall true, you are stuck in the contract, as that is what you signed up to. When are you due to end? You may beable to reduce your tariff if you ask, depending on how long you have left.

    I joined orange just before the £150 cashback offer, which was a shame.

    Well i have another 4 months but i have recently moved but get no signal! So i have the next 4 months without being able to text or ring people from my mobile! The contract they have changed before and i tried to cancle it from that but they said that i only had so many days to do it and i was passed them days... Buggas didn't even inform me of the terms change!

    Just bring it down to the lowest level (£15) and let it run its course, You arent getting it early without a fee.

    Good idea, if you can do that.

    Just take out a PAYG phone to use for calls and texts until you get a contract that works for you. Make sure you have signal where you plan to use it before signing up!
