desparate for a dog!

If you didn't bloody well pry and ask questions about my husband then I wouldn't feel the need to explain myself.
You came along and stuck your oar in channeling an angle that had nothing to do with the topic. You was the one fishing for personal info. I replied, but you weren't ready for my answer were you?
Good job I wasn't looking for a dog to keep me company after my husband had been run over by a bus eh?
I didn't ask a question about your private life. I mistook your BF as your hubby which is easy to do. No way did I ask you questions on him or was I fishing for info :rolleyes:0 -
You still came across as aggressive. If I come across as aggressive to others I get PM's and we sort it out. If people are nice to me then i'm nice to them.
I'm anything but aggressive. Can you not see how asking me if I receive affection from my husband and making the assumption that I want a dog only for novelty value is at best inflammotory?
I found your post offensive. So being nice to be treated nice cuts both ways. There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -
my BF is wonderful for the record.
I still would like a dog though? Can I not have both? There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -
ICan you not see how asking me if I receive affection from my husband
I didn't. I was refering to the way you described what you wanted a dog to be like and I asked if your hubby did that, meaning doing the same as the dog. I mistook your BF as your Hubby, an easy mistake to write.0 -

I'm not taking this up with you any further.
I want a dog, and right about now I'm being taken up with this sideshow instead of discussing it with those who don't have to be right. There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -
Can you not see that I am right in this instance
Well i'm sure others get what I meant even if you can't

You're right because you say you are. And for no other reason. An opinion is different from a hard fact. You can't simply decide that what you have posted is right because it's what you believe.
Others may agree with you, others may agree with me. I don't need to be in the majority to qualify my point of view.
And I certainly don't need to fall back on what others may think in order to strengthen my argument.

I didn't know your Hubby had left you. I mistook your BF as your hubby, I wrote hubby by mistake when I should have wrote BF. It's like when someone says they want a dog or cat to cuddle up with and talk to and we say well is that not what your hubby is for? I was no way mocking your situation. It was a light hearted joke on your doggy comment. Can you not understand that?0

There wasn't anything about your OP that suggested you were making a joke.
If you'd have indicated your comment as being lighthearted I would have taken it as such.
He didn't leave me, I kicked the swine out:DThere used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -
Maybe I should have put a laughing smilie next to what I wrote then.0
