Orange account credit help
Last month I called Orange and managed to cancel my mobile contract 13 months early due to a change in Oranges T&Cs. I got to keep the phone and was told I would receive one final bill in September since they required 30 days notice to cancel my contact. I received my PAC code and moved my number to an O2 the next week.
This month I expected to receive a final bill for approx £25 , the same as I had been paying each month up to now. To my surprise the only thing that came through to door was a cheque for £356!!! I then phoned orange who had no knowledge of any credit being made to my account and they double checked my final bill while I was on they phone and it was for £0.00!!!
So now I have £356 which has cleared and is sitting in my bank account! Can anyone please give me any advice on what to do with it? Can I expect that Orange will come chasing their money or is it mine to keep since they have confirmed on they phone that I owe them nothing?
Thanks to anyone who can help

Well is the money yours? No. Do the right thing and give it back.0

I would check with orange, and ask them again. If there has been a mistake. Maybe they applied a cancellation charge, but added credit to covered it. Removed the charge. Leaving you this amount of credit which was sent by cheque.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
