Hello grocery gang.
Only 3 pages to catch up with this time, so not too bad for me. Good luck to all the newbies, well done to all who have succeeded so far and wish me luck as I now have only about £50 per month until next year if I;m to succeed on my own annual budget.

I have been trying to think of a budget for us for when I do the challenge proper in November. I think your amount seems reasonable and I may use this as our budget although in theory there is only hubby and me I have to cater for a number of mindees over the week so I need to allow for food for them as well. Kate :hello:0 -
Hi,
Decided to rejoin after having a baby and all thought of GC going to pot completely. Can someone put me down for £400 please??? this includes all my formula and nappies as well.

I know I've already set my budget on the September thread, but it doesn't seem right not to post it at the start of the month - helps me keep it in mind
So, this month is 5 weeks for me, so my budget is £350, and that's for 2 adults, and 3 under 9s.
I've already had Asda and Tesco deliver (vouchers for delivery on both, so splitting the shop actually saved me money because of the various offers) so that's the unperishables for the month and fridge and freezer for 10days-2 weeks, and thanks to a late night pop into the Co-op last night I also have over a weeks bread frozen - just wish I'd managed to get the new (bigger) freezer up and running - 2p Hovis anyone?
So, spend so far is £128.19, this weeks shopping should now be finished, leaving approx £55 a week for the rest of the month - simples *she hopes*DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

Good luck to everyone!DFW 1108 Proud to be dealing with my debts:love: 2014Is Going to be the Year...for love...:smileyhea0

Hiya, I'm a GC virgin (but long-time lurker)...we've had to unexpectedly buy a car with October's pay so budget is very tight and every penny counts. Going to start off with £150 as an obtainable, first-time GC goal (would try and reduce on last month's spend of the same but need to stock up on quite a few cupboard things that have run out recently). For 1 pregnant lady, her husband & a cat with expensive tastes!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
