Do all orange pay monthly get magic number?

Hi all

As my daughter has just started Uni and has an Orange mobile, am thinking of replacing my PAYG Virgin sim with a pay monthly orange one. Main reason is to get the magic number so I can phone her up whenever without worrying about the cost.

Have searched the Orange site and can find no info about what plan actually qualifies for it. Have found out how it works (can add 1 new number every 6 months etc) but no where does it say how many months contract I need to take out or what the minimum payment is per month to receive it.

the Orange site does say
You’ll receive an additional Magic Number every six months as long as you remain on a talkplan that supports Magic Numbers.
but doesn't appear to say which talk plans support them?

Can anyone advise please?

thanks

Anyone on a pay monthly contract lasting 18/24 months gets a magic number every 6 months.
I believe 12 month contracts do not get any magic numbers.

I believe PAYG gets just three.

Magic numbers can only be orange numbers. So if your daughter adds you, then she can ring you if you are on orange as a magic number.
