    instant! Well within 2hrs they say! Try it and you'll see the HSBC screen say - please wait whilst we check with the receiving bank and it puts you on hold whilst the transfer goes through! :beer:

    Egg will credit the account on the day the funds arrive (if working day before 5pm) - although it won't show on the statement until the next day its there earning interest / cutting charges

    It will go through instantly.

    I send on HSBC. Open up my lloyds account. Refresh, and its there.

    i transfered £200 to a barclays account about 1am last night.

    it said the money will be in the receiving account within 2 hours due to our normal fraud checks (H40)

    can someone confirm the payment is gone instant?

    Yes it has. As long as it passed fruad checks ;)
