I recommend the dibb , very easy site to use , friendly and full of info
  • I have just booked a villa and flights to orlando for November 2007. The villas average £1000 for two weeks, pool heat included. For the flights I used several sites and found Travelcity Direct couldnt be beaten. I had to ring them though because I couldnt find a link on their website.

The cheapest I could find from travelsupermarket.com was £1920 for flights only, but with Travelcity Direct they recommended flying into Sandford instead of MCO and flights for 2 adults and 2 children, with car hire included and a fully comprehensive insurance (a must when hiring a car) came out at £1464 which is an incredible saving on previous quotes.

I am also going to pay extra to enter the Royal Palm Lounge at Sandford (check it out on the website) should take some of the stress out of waiting for our flights.

We also intend to hire sat nav to assist us on our travels because we are prone to getting lost lol.

Hope this helps someone. Good luck with your searches.
  • Something I forgot to mention.

Although Sandford is approx 30 minutes further away than MCO you will recoup this time by checking through the airport much quicker. It all depends whether or not you mind the extra driving.

can anyone give me any information on the best and cheapest package deal to florida. I am hoping to go in august 2008 with my husband and two children who will be 12 an 14. we have been before twice and really loved it. we flew with virgin both times but now the children are older it is a lot more expensive. My husband likes virgin airways as he is very tall and they have a lot of leg room on their planes, I would be grateful of any help

This is a pretty old thread, you would be better looking in the Florida and Orlando stickie thread further up for more up to date information.
