With the autobid thing do you have to commit to buy if it's within target price? What are their fees?

With Autoebid you don't have to commit to buying the Car if they match the reserve but you do have to commit to paying their fees. Ther fees depend on the value of the Car you are buying, for me they were £339. Those fees are included in the price they quote as the reserve though so the price they claim to be able to get it for includes all the fees.

And, on the question of whether you can pay for the car in December and register on 1st of Jan, my local dealer said it can’t be done; I rang the IR VAT section and they said can be done, if it is paid for before 1st Jan, you pay the pre 1st Jan rate of VAT
