G2 Touch vs iphone on Tmobile

Hi,

I quite new to all this just having a normal sort of phone, and am due an upgrade with tmobile in oct, i went to tmobile shop today and they showed me the G2 Touch, man in the shop said he thought it was better than the iphone and was a good phone, he also told me that I could get the iphone from Tmobile on my upgrade but it wouldn;t be the newest version, so this has left me a little confused which would be best does anyone have any idea ??

by the way I would mostly use it for teh ususal email, facebook sort of thing and photos and video etc, Im not a high tech wiz so won't be going mental with either phone.

I would recommend you the G2 touch/Hero even if they were offering you the Iphone 3GS. (I suspect it was the Iphone 3G on offer, in which case definitely go for the G2 touch).

They are both good phones and you won't really regret choosing either one.

The Iphone is just slightly simpler to use, but the G2 Touch is more capable... swings and roundabouts.

thanks and your right it was the earlier version of the iphone the 3g.
